    What a bunch of idiots!

  2. cubanshamoo April 24, 2010 at 12:21 am #

OMG is that real? No, seriously? Are you Rob member of Earth First?

I have seen this before, but I still get a good laugh out of it! I especially love it when the woman says “bring me to this rock that has the most incredible life.” I guess the concept of inanimate objects is completely lost to these nuts. The funiest thing is they allowed it to be filmed!!!!!! I’ve seen saner people being arrested on Cops.

  4. Rob N. Hood April 24, 2010 at 6:33 pm #

I probably would be an Earth Firster if I was more brave and adventuristic than I am. Either that or a full-time Green Peacer.

So you get angry/upset or otherwise bothered by folks who love this beautiful planet God gave us, really? How about this then:

If John Doe or Jane Doe finds his or her job outsourced to slave-wage nations, and they fall behind in their payments, the banks impose the wrath of the Lord on them, and claim it is moral hazard to help them.

If multinational banks engage in incompetent, unethical or illegal actions that destroy the economy and create a near-depression, or receive massive taxpayer bailouts, and then pay themselves gigantic bonuses for their efforts, they claim they should keep these bonuses in the name of what they call capitalism, and claim anyone who believes those bonuses should be taxed and the money returned to taxpayers is guilty of what they call socialism! (nice twist that one, eh?)

Finally, official Washington has reached major bipartisan agreement! The bonuses will not face the tax. The taxpayers will not be reimbursed for the bonuses.

Jesus taught that we should sell our possessions and give the proceeds to the poor, but Jesus did not make campaign donations to both political parties.

    And so it goes…

Rob, honestly, how does this screed have anything to do with a bunch of wackos sitting around in the woods and wailing like babies? And by your comment am I correct in assuming that you are saying that they are braver, and more adventuristic than you? That’s what it sounded like to me. Do you actually look up to these idiots? Wait….. this is you!!! What am I saying? of course you look up to these people.
And what is with the sob story about the Doe’s. Life is hard, when you lose a job you look for another one, or retrain in another field. Also when you take out a loan on something you do sign an agreement with the lender to pay it back. It is a risk, and if you are not prepared to handle that risk, perhaps you should not have borrowed the money for that big house or have a new car every year. We all make choices Rob.
What would you do if a friend of yours borrowed $1000.00 from you and agreed to pay it back over the course of ten months at $100.00 a month. 6 months later he tells you that he doesn’t have $100.00 for you that month, and asks if he can give you $20.00.
Well you being the kind hearted person that you are say “OK, but I need at least $120.00 for the rest of the monthly payments because I will need to recover the whole $1000.00 by the time we agreed. You see that money I loaned to you was being saved for my Earth First trip to the rainforest, and if I don’t get all of that money back I won’t be able to go.” Your friend says, “Ok! Thanks friend”
The next month goes by and you don’t hear from your friend. You try to call him, but it just goes to voicemail. You go by his house, and his life partner says “you just missed him, but I’ll tell him you stopped by” What do you do then?
The next thing you know you have a lawyer from the southern poverty law center telling you that “you got $520.00 back. Thats all you’re getting, that should be enough. Stop harrassing my client you evil lender!!!”
Thus concludes your lesson in basic lending.

Wow! They must be from Humbolt County.

  6. cubanshamoo April 25, 2010 at 2:10 am #

Pray for Gaia Rob, pray, but let Jesus out of your mouth. This people do not believe in God. STOP TALIKING BS.

  7. Hal Groar April 25, 2010 at 11:40 am #

It is not that these people “Love the Earth” as Rob put it. These people do not like people. While they may spend a lot of time admiring nature and promoting the outdoors, their real purpose is to stay away from other people. They do not have people skills and cannot tolerate being with others. They do have Rock skills, because a rock won’t laugh at their ideas and rocks don’t complain about the smell.

Here is something I came accross at americanthinker.com it is related to this story. http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/04/why_i_am_enlarging_my_carbon_f.html

  9. Rob N. Hood April 25, 2010 at 7:16 pm #

Oh, and worshipping some really cool guy who may or may not have existed 2000 years ago is somehow SANE by comparison? Really? How so?

  10. paul wenum April 25, 2010 at 11:18 pm #

I will not go there with an atheist. People like you with no vision/forward thinking bore me. It just confirms, again, why we have problems in America. Suggest that you look in the mirror and “worship” yourself. In Irag, you could paint your finger blue, oh that’s right, you don’t vote do you. I think you are an Avatar believer. Hung a tree.

  11. Cubanshamoo April 26, 2010 at 2:11 am #

I will not answer Rob’s comments, first for calling me fascist, secondly because if I will be a muslim, he will have no nuts to make that comment. This guy is getting out of control.

  12. Rob N. Hood April 26, 2010 at 9:13 am #

Hung like a tree… with no nuts, he he he.

    You guys slay me! LOL

Oh right, I forgot, your “object” of worship also performed random acts of incredible magic/miracles. Never seen before or since. THAT seems reasonable; compared with being extremely appreciative of nature, from which all life depends, is ridiculous to you?! Ok, then… yeah you guys must be right that I’m WAY OUT THERE… and out of control. Yep- any “reasonable” and “sane” person would come to that same conclusion….

So who’s out of touch with reality? I forgot already.

  13. Cubanshamoo April 27, 2010 at 5:06 am #

Poor guy, you must be young or extremely immature and probably received a paid education, but this do not make you funny, nor wise, neither capable to make us believe that you words are useful. I could easily see you screaming like these hysterical fanatics.
Concerning my religion, it is not to workship, it is part of my culture, and yours. In fact we celebrate probably the same days, but you surely do not know why.

  14. Rob N. Hood April 27, 2010 at 8:37 am #

    Bigotry, prejudice, bias, ego-centrism, narcissism = out….of……thouch…….with ………….REALITY

  15. paul wenum April 27, 2010 at 10:37 pm #

Religion is not “Out of touch with reality.” It is a belief that has been instilled for thousands of years within people throughout the world. We all, or I should say, the majority, believe in a “supreme being.” It is a personal matter and should be left that way. Don’t condemn for which you do not know nor understand. All I know is that people that I know that have a religious belief are more caring/understanding of others and that includes all religions. Seems like you may be searching for something beyond your control or feel sometimes lost? That, my friend is reality. Enough said.

  16. Rob N. Hood April 28, 2010 at 8:00 am #

Did I add religion in my list above? Nope. Stick with reality Paul, try at least.

Why put words in my mouth? What’s the point of that? Diversion? Denial? Passive-agressiveness? Senility?

  17. paul wenum April 28, 2010 at 6:40 pm #

You don’t even think before you post. You react.

  18. Rob N. Hood April 29, 2010 at 11:52 am #

Funny- instead of berating me for “condemning for which you do not or understand” why not address that sentiment to the idiots who posted above who are making fun of the people in the video clip, or even Dan for posting it?? Paul- really? I don’t think before I post…really?

  19. paul wenum April 29, 2010 at 10:54 pm #

They are who they are and think as they think. Just like you and I. It’s called having an opinion. If they find it humorous, so be it.

  20. Rob N. Hood April 30, 2010 at 10:43 am #

You are so magnanimous- like an alligator.

  21. paul wenum May 2, 2010 at 10:32 pm #

Don’t swim in my lake my friend. My teeth are sharp. Called Canine.

Dripping not with water but hypocrisy.

  23. paul wenum May 4, 2010 at 10:40 pm #

    Been called worse my friend.

  24. Rob N. Hood May 5, 2010 at 7:02 am #

    I believe it.

  25. Cubanshamoo May 7, 2010 at 12:57 am #

ObviousRob believe it. Paul is not a liberal and only liberals love to insult people without reasons. Is a kind of “exit” to their impotence.
But I stop there, because there are many kind of impotences liberals suffers

  26. Rob N. Hood May 16, 2010 at 4:16 pm #

Well, thanks for not insulting me like a liberal…
