Reporting from Washington — A flash point has emerged in American science education that echoes the battle over evolution, as scientists and educators report mounting resistance to the study of man-made climate change in middle and high schools.

Although scientific evidence increasingly shows that fossil fuel consumption has caused the climate to change rapidly, the issue has grown so politicized that skepticism of the broad scientific consensus has seeped into classrooms.

    Says the pot to the kettle. You would probably have much more traffic, though, much- as opposed to what appears to be virtually NONE. And I am not proud of the statement- it just felt right at the time. I didn’t make it up- someone else did a long time ago. If the shoe fits as they say. It amazes me, that’s all. When that kind of thing occurs- such a betrayal. But there’s an exception (or maybe even many) for every rule. You rightys attack liberal weathy in the same way. The terms used for them are just not as politically incorrect. BTW- we commies have a PLAN for voter ID, when it inevitably will become law. And it will irk you folks to no end. See ya in the funny papers.
