Documentary To the End Bombs – AOC’s Green New Deal Flick a Box Office Flop

To the End” is a documentary film that was four years in the making. It follows four  women (Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, activist Varshini Prakash, climate policy writer Rhiana Gunn-Wright, and political strategist Alexandra Rojas) as they grapple with new challenges of leadership and power and try to advance sweeping, treasury-busting pork barrel legislation known as the “Green New Deal.”

Released in early December 2022 to disastrous box office results, Hollywood In Toto reported that it averaged just $80 per theater. As of December 16th, the film, had grossed $11,290.

Professional critics predictably gave the film rave reviews, but audiences called it “rotten,” with just an 11% score at Rotten Tomatoes.

One reviewer wrote, “Terrible, comically terrible.”

“Arguably the worst documentary I’ve seen in the last 10 years. This documentary is full of lies and half truths. The production is mediocre at best, it reminds me more of something a bunch of highscoolers will come up with to get some credits from their teacher,” wrote another. The audience reviews are a scroll of disapproval.

As of publication, Google’s audience score showed that 2% “liked” the film.

It’s safe to say AOC’s political propaganda piece is a bomb. For all the political left’s redoubled efforts to push a new climate change religion for power and profit and the amplification their effort gets in the main stream press, the American people continue to say, “meh.”

Many pay lip service to the Green New Religion, but belief is shallow. Actions show what people really believe and care about. Money talks and it’s repudiation of AOC’s “To the End” is resounding.

An Associated Press Poll conducted in June of 2022 found only about 35% of U.S. adults are very or extremely concerned about how climate change impacts them personally which is down 9% from the prior year. Overall, the share of Americans who are not at all or not very concerned about the impacts of climate change on their lives rose 7% from 2019 to 2022, according to the poll.

This is good news for the skeptics pushing back against global warming hysteria. As much as the climate fear mongers are pushing, resistance remains strong and appears to be growing.
