The Senate voted this week on whether Climate Change is real or a hoax, I think it’s a hoax and here’s why.
I’m sure you’ve heard in the news that 2014 was supposed to be the hottest year ever. If it actually was “hottest year ever” you’d think all the terrible calamities that are supposed to happen would be happening now but instead the opposite is happening.
1. Record Ice
In 2014 there was record sea ice in Antarctica in fact a global warming expedition got stuck in it. Arctic sea ice has also made a nice comeback in 2014. The Great lakes had record ice Lake Superior only had 3 ice free months in 2014. You’d think that in the hottest year ever that ice would be melting like Al Gore said.
2. Record Snow
2014 saw record snowfall in many areas, remember when they said that global warming would cause snow to disappear and children won’t know what snow is.
3. Record Cold
In 2014 we saw all kinds of cold records remember the Polar Vortex? You’d think that we’d be breaking all kinds of heat records in “the hottest year ever”
4. Oceans Are Rising Much Less Than Predicted
Al Gore predicted that oceans would rise 20 feet by 2100, it looks like were on track for about a foot. 80% of the tide gauges show less rise than the official “global average”. Many tide gauges show no rise in sea level, and almost none show any acceleration over the past 20 years.
5. Polar Bears Are Thriving
You’d think that Polar Bears would really be in trouble in 2014 “the hottest year ever” but they are thriving.
6. Moose Are Making A Comeback
A few years ago the moose population in Minnesota dropped rapidly and they immediately blamed global warming, then they did a study and found out it was actually wolves that were killing the moose. Wolves have been taken off the endangered species list and are now endangering other species so they opened a wolf hunting season in Minnesota and the moose are coming back. It turns out it had nothing to do with global warming in fact the years when the moose population declined were some very cold ones.
7. 99% of Scientists don’t believe in Catastrophic Man-Made Global Warming
You’ve probably heard over and over that 99% of scientist believe in global warming well the opposite is true. That talking point came from a study where only 75 scientists said they believe in global warming on the other hand over 31,000 scientists have signed a petition saying they don’t believe in Catastrophic Man-Made Global Warming.
8. Nature produces much more CO2 than man
In 2014 NASA finally launched a satellite that measures CO2 levels around the globe. They assumed that most of the CO2 would be coming from the industrialized northern hemisphere but much to their surprise it was coming from the rainforests in South America, Africa and China.
9. It Isn’t Actually the Warmest Year.
If you look at the satellite data 2014 was not the warmest year ever in fact there has been no global warming for over 18 years. The Reason they can say it’s the warmest year is because they are using the ground weather station data which is heavily influenced by the Urban Heat Island effect, many of which are near pavement. Even still they had to cherry pick that data to get at the warmest year ever and it is only the warmest by only two-100ths of a degree within a dataset that has a variability of a half of a degree. The fact they they had to ignore accurate data and fudge sketchy data to push their agenda proves (IMHO) that climate change is a hoax.
10. The Hypocrisy of the Main Players
One of the main reasons you can tell that global warming is a hoax is that the main purveyors of global warming live lifestyles opposite of what they preach, they all own multiple large homes and yachts and they fly around the world in private jets pushing their propaganda. Not to mention some people such as Al Gore actually profit from Carbon Taxes and other green energy laws. If they actually believed what they preached they would be leading quite different lives.
Fossil fuels more or less comes from decayed dead dinosaurs right?
Were they not extinct would that be a good thing?
Come on a lot of you environmental wackos would say “YES” and you know it even if you would never care to admit it…
Okay then would a long dead dinosaur weigh less than alive and give off less CO2?

I will tell you this. My father has been a climatologist for 45 years. He is considered one of the nations leading; however, he was let go from his government job 7 years ago. WHy? Because he was being paid to find a desired result that just wasn’t there. They use real facts to make it look tangible, and provide you with real models. The only problem is, the facts don’t support the overall theory – at all. In fact, the climate is doing now what it has done for thousands of years. Remember when people used to migrate? The climate does change, but there is a trade off.. One area may become cooler while another one becomes warmer. If humans could actually contribute to global warming, our amount when compared to nature’s amount is less than a drop in a swimming pool. Big politicians invest in solar companies, and wind companies, then they sell you on the “fact” of global warming. All the sudden the solar industries stocks are going while, and corrupt politicians are cashing in. They do this with everything. Open your eyes. My whole family is full of environmentalist, there is no reason that we would turn a blind eye to “global Warming” if it actually existed.

Well we don’t seem to be getting winter or spring. (It snows in winter and It rains in spring if you don’t know. I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t since you believe what this article says.) Last year we would have had a snow day already, this year it’s only snowed twice and it melts by the next day. I literally woke up last night because my nose hurt from bleeding because it was so dry. Keep in mind, I have never had a bloody nose before. It has actually been dryer than EVER! And have you seen all the flooding and hurricanes. Yeah, more than ever. Which oh ya, sea levels rise. Just from my everyday life I have experienced global warming FIRST HAND. So if you don’t want to look at the obvious facts than fine. Dont. Hopefully your children and grandchildren don’t have to suffer from your mess.

But if you watch the video right below it or read the article it clearly says that : the Arctic has lost an average of 20,800 square miles (53,900 square kilometers) of ice a year: the Antarctic has gained an average of 7,300 square miles (18,900 sq km). Thats a negative slope of 2.84 miles^2 each year.
It makes me sad that Nasa would be so careless to title any article in this way knowing that many people don’t bother to read the article which allows them to draw erroneous conclusions.

From the laws of thermodynamics it does not pass the smell test. The total mass of the atmosphere is 5×10^18 kg, so it would take 6×10^J to rise 1C. I find it impossible to believe that a 30% increase in CO2, of a gas that makes up on 13% of air, can cause that much energy to be emitted into the entire mass of air.
Actually CO2 only make up .04% of the atmosphere.
Sorry, I meant to say only 13% of green house gas. Water vapor makes up about 87%. The heating is most likely coming from the oceans which is a giant heat pump/sink.
Hottest temperature on Earth was 3,600° Fahrenheit, 800 million years ago during the period known as the Neoproterozoic. Now I’m laying in bed in my Pearl City home and the temperature is 71 degrees, and when I go to my Aiea home again it’s 71 degrees. There’s always been Climate Change since 4.5 Billion years ago and Earth has the abilities to regulate it self…

a Carbon Tax help?
a tax burden on the nations that could most solve the problem, help solve the problem?
a tax exchange that enriches other countries that will, over time, turn into a industrious one (China) help?
a tax that enriches a select few that control the exchange by take their sliver of the pie, help?
Wouldn’t it seem much more logical to either give incentives to companies to develop alterative?
If you used a tax, shouldn’t that tax go directly to that country’s alterative energy program designed to be later sold or even shared with the planet?

There’s compelling ‘evidence’ for the argument that it’s human caused. there’s also ‘evidence’ that human activity has nothing to do with it. However, if you look closely, you’ll see that the evidence for the latter argument comes in one way or the other from people invested in the exact activities pointed to as being the main culprits of climate change – people who can fabricate as many believable evidence as they can – and if you believe they wouldn’t do this, then, well, there’s not a lot of hope in convincing you.
Say I am open about the possibility of the theory of man made climate change being wrong. What I still have not understood is how could a global conspiracy like this ever happen. All major climate research organizations are behind this theory and so is most published peer reviewed papers in the field. Not just from organizations and people in the US but across the whole world. How did all these scientists and politicians all over the world get together and conspire to fool the public about this?
Think of it this way. If oceans are hotter, it will produce more violent storms. More moisture in the air means hotter temperatures. More hurricanes and stronger snow storms.
When it’s cold, it’ll be colder and when it’s hot, it’ll be hotter. In the end, the surface of the planet will be covered by storms.
Record cold will be accompanied by record hot. When the rate of temperature change out pace evolution, wildlife will die out without human intervention.
Record snowfall is to be expected, so does record melting of ice caps. They are not mutually exclusive.
Endangered animals thriving is not proof that climate change isn’t real, for climate change isn’t the only factor. Reduce hunting, adapting, change in location can all contribute to population growth.
Awareness =/= knowledge.

I strongly believe that climate change is a serious issue and something needs to be done about it now to make the world a better place for our future generations.
Al Gore made the case that there is a correspondence between global warming and an increased percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere. That’s true, but CO2 is the effect of global warming, not the cause. The increase in CO2 is the result of the oceans’, as they get warmer, losing some of their ability to dissolve CO2. “Man-made global warming” is all a big, big hoax! It’s an underhanded money/power grab. Environmentalists would have more effect in the long run if they would simply be honest instead of lying in order to get taxpayer dollars! Now their reputation is down the tubes. Who is going to take anything they say seriously?

If the writer can not grasp concepts taught in 6th grade English, the ability to understand one of the most complex sciences in the modern field is questionable. Restaurants closed by the tens of thousands. Why? People had no jobs and thus no money to spend. Kmart basically folded, retail sales sucked. Jobs, lost by the millions, wages of those jobs left stagnant. Unemployment Benefits extended three times by Congress (They don’t do that if jobs are available). Obama had an opportunity to work for the people. Instead he spent the majority of his efforts in apologizing to foreign countries because America is who she is… The greatest country this Planet has ever seen or will see. Obama blew it, taxed it, benefited personally from it and walked away a millionaire while the “Little People” were trying just to buy groceries and pay the necessities to survive. That is what the Progressive, Liberal Democrats are about… themselves and every one else must bow down or pay a penalty (ObamaCare).
I personally have checked into it and for me and my wife alone, premiums are 850 to 1250 per month with a 12,500 deductible plus copays (My most recent check was within the last two weeks) That is over 50% of my income before taxes for premiums and deductibles alone. Who, can afford such? Now I pay a penalty of approximately 1200 per year for not being able to purchase the brand of Hot Dogs Obama and the Dems mandated me to purchase. The penalty is far better… I pay out approximately 2500 to 3000 per year for doctors and meds for my diabetic wife and myself. I am far better off without his mandates as millions of others are. Not to mention the blatant lies told to promote it by him personally.

If you think that not one shred of evidence has been shown, then either you have been paying no attention, or you don’t understand the meaning of the word ‘evidence’.
Evidence is any observation, object, or fact which would tend to persuade somebody of something.
I considered then candidate Trump’s elevation of Paul Manafort from Allie, advisor, campaigner to campaign manager(5 months) to be pretty strong evidence that he was beholden to the Russians. There was literally no other reason to put Manafort in charge.
Candidate/ President Trump’s refusal to criticize anything that Vladimir Putin said or did,
especially in the context of his tendency to criticize absolutely everybody else, was also evidence.
His naming of General Flynn as National Security Adviser was another piece of evidence. Jumping out of order, the later revelation that Flynn was texting to his Russian buddies, actually during the inauguration, that the project they were putting together, which had been illegal due to sanctions, was now good to go, made perfectly clear that Flynn was working with Russians. And if you believe that President Trump would allow a subordinate to profit, while he did not, you have the wrong guy.
We all learned of the Trump Tower meeting with Veselnitskaya, at about the same time that we learned that President Trump composed the first excuse memo, which was a transparent lie. But the lie he told, that the meeting had been about lifting the ban on adoption of Russian infants, was so well attuned to the actual substance, which was the sanctions imposed by the Magnitsky act and Russia’s banning of the American adoption of Russian infants, that he clearly had been aware of the meeting all along.
Side note: When Jr testified before Nunes’ committee about the meeting, they knew from his cell phone records that he had placed a call immediately after the meeting was over. The Republican majority on that committee accepted his claim that he did not remember who he called or why. They did not subpoena the records of the called phone to see who owned it. I view the call as evidence that Sr was involved and read in, and I view Nunes’ refusal to find out who the call went to as evidence that Nunes was complicit in the obstruction of justice as well.
The day that then candidate Trump asked Russia to “find” Hillary’s missing emails, Russian hackers changed their targets, and started trying to hack the email accounts of her likely correspondents. That is evidence of either a conspiracy or a startling coincidence. The day that the “Grab them by the pussy” tape was published, so were the first of those stolen emails, knocking the tape off the front page. Evidence of either conspiracy or coincidence.
President Trump’s meeting with Lavrov and Kislyak without any American press or American aides present is evidence. His revealing codeword intel to them is evidence. His later meeting with Russian President Putin without any American scribes, translator, Intelligence officers, or other aides present is evidence.
The fact that both Jr and Eric claimed that the Trump Organization was getting lots of its financing from Russia after the latest rounds of bankruptcies is evidence, at least of the fact that the Trump Organization owed money to oligarchs.
The records of the startling profit that Donald Trump made in selling a house to oligarch Rybolovlev are evidence that Trump has been helping Russians launder money.
So are many of the purchases of apartments in Trump Towers.
You may claim that all of the bits of evidence I have named, and others besides, are not convincing, or that they have innocent explanations. I think that is naive. But to claim they don’t exist is insulting.

Thanks for this list, i knew this was a hoax when I first heard of “climate change” when it was called “global warming” my last year in high school. It’s very simple to know that the biosphere absorbs carbon to keep a balance, so more carbon = more plants, duh. Turns out that this “climate change” lie is part of a taxation scheme to deny people access to resources and create a new “asset” known as “Renewable Energy Certificates” and bring people down under a “technocratic” system of worldwide oppression and poverty. Looks like it has failed, but people still are buying this climate change story, but I think more people are become aware that it’s a lie. Its mathematical premise was also just disproven by Lord Mockton.
