'You've Been Gored' The Climate Change Fraud

al-gore-bd-suitMy six year-old, parroting her teacher, proclaimed, “If we don’t fix Climate Change, we’re all gonna die!” At that moment, I decided to write YOU’VE BEEN GORED, the book that lampoons Al Gore and his hypocritical ‘ALpostles.’

The environment has become the hottest political issue of our time. And when anything is politicized, falsehood flourishes. The volume of lies, disinformation, propaganda, hypocrisy and exaggeration far exceeds the quantity of material pollutants and is more hazardous.

Green has become the convenient, safe, lucrative cause for politicians, corporate weasels, celebrity eco-frauds, power-hungry government agencies and fast-buck swindlers hustling everything from gas-to-water engine conversion plans to carbon offset credits.

There’s a combination gold-rush/Armageddon’s a-comin’ zeitgeist that’s very troubling. It’s like watching the panicked crowd flee from Godzilla. Their mindless fear is more dangerous than the monster.

Statistics of doom are conjured and accepted without vetting. Idiotic “solutions” are clutched in desperation. Most terrifying of all, leaders are anointed and followed without scrutiny.

Read the rest at Big Government.

My neighbor’s 10 year old came back from school with similar stories and I am in a place where “Gore” is a foreign language. Greenery in quasi-bankrupt Greece is being promoted seemingly by EU directives but in reality and before bloggers started harping, by Siemens, Osram, Vestas, and various local partners of European “Renewables” types. A very cursory search points to “Central Europe” as the epicenter. I supsect that in the West, Gore’s party is more likely to be “pro-Europe”…

A cute piece of euronews hints that “greenery” will be used as a proxy for protectionism:

If you have trouble falling asleep, here are some working hypotheses:

Hey if you are wondering why it took so long for your comment to be posted it was because of the multiple links, happens to me all the time.
As far as your theory that Eyeore’s (that’s what I call Gore. He reminds me of Eyeore from the Whinnie the Pooh cartoons) party is pro-Europe. I would go a step further and say that Eyeore’s party wants to change America into another Europe. And then I would go a step further than that and say that a lot of the people behind the whole thing are Europeans like George Soros, and Maurice Strong.

      • NEIL F. AGWD/BSD November 27, 2011 at 3:49 pm #

Sorry, Strong is Canadian. But still though!

I like the additude of this author. Exerpts from the book look like it is all a big joke, and AGW is a big joke so it is fitting.

  3. Jerk A. Knot November 28, 2011 at 10:08 am #

AG is from TN. In his bid to become POTUS he could not even carry his own state… If he has FL would have bee an non-issue. AG has always been a joke. I do biusness with a large CO in TN. If you mention his name they start Laughng…. and quickly say “We love his daddy but he is a joke” then continue the snikers… Now thest people are all Hard Core DEMS… The difference s they are old school “yellow dogs” not the socialist whimps that are overpopulated in the National DEM Party.

  4. Joe November 28, 2011 at 10:05 pm #

Now, Now, let’s let “ole Al” watch his “Current” TV all by himself. Someone must pay his electric bills that are generated by clean coal. Correct?

  5. Rob N. Hood December 3, 2011 at 9:42 am #

Speaking of fraud, real damaging, and insidiously huge fraud (besides war as a profit maker for the elite):

It took the journalists at Bloomberg News two years – and presumably lots of legal fees – to pry information out of the Federal Reserve that should have been made public long ago. We now know that the Fed’s secret $7.7 trillion lending program wasn’t just the most massive bank bailout ever seen, and it wasn’t just free money for mega-bankers – though it was certainly both of those things- it was also the greatest hoax in stock market history.

No, scratch that. It was the greatest hoax in the history of money.

    • NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 3, 2011 at 9:41 pm #

Oh RNH, there you go again airing you pet grievences from your political point of view again. I don’t see any connection to AGW here, other than it is about fraud. Honestly, I don’t have any knowledge about this topic, but you do present it with a Leftist’s point of view. I did a little reading on this, but frankly this subject is not that interesting to me, so I quickly moved on. I was not a supporter of the bailouts.
Do I think there have been shinnanigans going on? Absolutely! But I will admit to bias here and say I think most of the shinnanigans probably eminate from the Left. That said, I’m sure there are elements on the Right too that have dirty hands from establishment, non conservative Republicans. And I should remind you too that this is the sort of thing that helped to bring about the Tea Party. So I would have to say that there might be some things here that we might agree upon……. If I cared more about it.

  6. Rob N. Hood December 4, 2011 at 8:05 am #

PET grievances? You actually said that?! Talk about pet grievances- this entire site is that. 7.7 TRILLION dollars is hardly a petty thing. But oh, wait…. I know… I’m wrong again, WAY off-base and love to discuss inconsequential things… I forgot. Thanks Neil for remindig me. And finding things to agree upon is the whole point about this or any other method of communication, more or less, UNLESS you come at from an authortarian, my way or the highway mentality. Gosh, that sure sounds familar… I wonder why?

Translation: your over-arching concern about a world-wide climate HOAX and its POSSIBLE ramifications is DWARFED by ACTUAL fraud and hoax occurring in front of your noses DAILY. But hey, that’s not FUN, or interesting enough or partisan enough…or, whatever etc. etc.

    • NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 4, 2011 at 8:31 am #

That was my point! This entire site is dedicated to greivences about glabal warming. Not whatever topic you think should be discussed. And it may be true that the fraud and hoaxes from the financial sector dwarf the fraud of AGW, but AGW is still the focus of this site. What you are talking about is not the focus of this site, regardless of the importance of it in the grand scheme of things.
And I’m sorry that when I start reading about that stuff my eyes glaze over, and I suddenly want to take a nap! I’m sure there are plenty of other blogs and websites dedicated to that very thing, and I’m sure there are people on those blogs who would be more than willing to discuss it with you with the same passion that you seem to have for it. So when I say a topic you bring up is irrelevent, I mean that it is irrelevent to this site, and to myself. Not that it really is irrelevent in the big picture. The focus of this site is narrow, but it is about a topic that I am passionate about. I invite you to try to find a website that is dedicated to what you want to talk about, then come back here when you want to talk about AGW.

    • disaksen November 6, 2014 at 2:20 am #

When most people want to discuss the Fed’s $7.7 Trillion fiasco, they go to a forum that;s that’s discussing that particular subject.

That being said, the Fed’s $7.7 Trillion fiasco is going to be a spit in the bucket when compared to the governments multi-trillion dollar theft from people and businesses who will be forced to pay for carbon credits and other man-made global climate change penalties, .. IF you leftists have your way.

The not so funny part of the whole MM global climate change fraud is the average person are going to be the one’s who eventually wind up paying virtually the whole bill for the cost of leftists perpetuating the fraud. YOU,,, Rob N Hood, will be paying your fair share of the costs, … unless you’re one of the people who don’t pay any INCOME tax, .. and instead, are one of the many who are satisfied leeching (sucking on the teat) from government. If/when the costs of doing business increase dramatically because of the leftists climate change fraud, those costs will be passed on to the consumer.

  7. Rob N. Hood December 4, 2011 at 11:54 am #

No Neil- your point was to try and paint me as completely illegitmate, thus your “pet grievances” words. Why choose those words? Once again, you miss my point entirely by your knee-jerk bias. And so kind of you to “invite” me to go somewhere else. Very mature and thoughtful of you. If I bore you so much and/or assualt your fragile sensibilities excessively why don’t you simply ignore me? Am I really that abrasive or insulting? What really have I done that is so disruptive? Isn’t it Dan’s call in the end? And hasn’t he spoken his piece on it more than once?

Summary: While I can respect anyone’s efforts to be proactive regarding injustice or other wrong-doings, I cannot help but point out inconsistencies and hypocricies when I see them. It is my own form of proactiveness, if you will. Not to mention freedom of speech, of course.

    • NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 4, 2011 at 12:07 pm #

No not illegitimate, just irrelevent to me, and in my opinion to this website. Go ahead and post your Leftist propaganda, but you have to realise that you are not posting it to a vacuum here. There will be a reaction to it, and 9 times out of 10 it will not be favorable. It’s true you have freedom of speech, but that does not mean that anyone has to agree with, or accept what you say.

  8. Rob N. Hood December 4, 2011 at 12:33 pm #

Again with your histrionics: it isn’t “Leftist propganda”, don’t you get that? It’s REALITY. And I never said you had to AGREE. You are arguing in circles, like a dog after its own tail. How can you not see that? And I have to say this once again- this is NOT your website. Your authoritarian nature is influencing your emotions and your reaction to just about anything and everything I post. (including this, I am sure)

    • NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 4, 2011 at 1:08 pm #

No no, it is Leftist propaganda. That’s your reality. And by calling what I’m saying histrionics, you are demonstrating the fact that you do not take what I say seriously. And I can assure you that I am completely serious. There is nothing emotional, or theatrical about what I’m saying. You simply have no interest in what I say, except that it disagrees with what you say. Who is being the drama queen here? It certainly isn’t me.

  9. Rob N. Hood December 4, 2011 at 1:27 pm #

I cannot take someone denying REALITY as anything but exhibiting histrionics. You are projecting your inability to do anything except contradict and view everything in a partisan manner. You do this contantly and it would/should cause at least a pause in that line of response. And yet it doesn’t. You came very close to responding in an intelligent manner above by saying you almost could agree with some things- well, what’s stopping you? I have agreed on this site from time to time- and have tried to coax the same from others, no no avail. I know I know Neil- you will deny this and say something hypocritical like I’m the one being the drama queen. I’m not the one trying to chase you off this site or grandiose enough to act like this is my site and I am in charge of policing it. No no, by all means Neil, you are not into drama…

“A UFO was spotted over Ocean Shores earlier this week. The glowing red light was spotted near the beach Tuesday evening, and police officers were among those who saw the object”

“This recipe has been in my family for a long time. The smell will send friends and family running for the warmth of the kitchen. A note about good cookie baking: Halfway through, I always rotate the tray in the oven so the cookies bake evenly on all sides. This recipe is no exception.

      The foundation:
1 1/2 sticks lightly salted butter, softened
      1 2/3 cups sugar
      1 orange, zested

      The dry ingredients:
4 cups all-purpose flour, plus 1/2 cup additional for rolling, if needed 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 tablespoon ground dry ginger 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

The wet ingredients: 2 eggs 1/2 cup dark molasses 1 lemon, juiced”

“Whether you own a smooth-coated dog that cleans up easily or a high-maintenance breed such as a cocker spaniel, your dog will need regular grooming. If your dog is a poodle or other breed that needs to have extensive styling and clipping done, such techniques are best left to a professional groomer. But in most cases, dog grooming is relatively straightforward and can be done effectively at home with just a few simple tools.”

      Now that…. is histrionics!! POINT!!!!!!

      • Dan McGrath December 7, 2011 at 2:13 pm #

        Love it.

    • NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 4, 2011 at 6:50 pm #

Ok if you want to just go wild let’s talk about UFO’s, cookie recipies, and dog grooming. I mean WTF?

  10. Joe December 4, 2011 at 10:38 pm #

Global warming is a fraud period and a cash cow for “progressives” if cap N trade passed and people buy the theory which has now been proven basically false. I understand Canada is now backing out of Kyoto saving over 6 billion knowing that they will have to pay carbon credit fees when others don’t? i.e, China, et al. “Ole” Al ain’t going to like the lack of income will he? How will he pay that electric bill coming from clean coal? Let this Hood idiot rant all he wants. All left wing liberals do when caught with their arse bare and no facts behind him. (No pun intended).

  11. joe December 5, 2011 at 12:21 am #

Please Neil, Stick to your main points. This “Hood guy” is a “wanna be” or a “denier” of facts that Global Warming does not exist and Climate Change happens daily. The new name after the IPCCA’s new e-mails surfaced again is “Climate Change.” Wonder why? What happened to “Global Warming?” Their finger, after reading their e-mails, recently released to the American public, they put their finger to the wind and found Climate Change verbiage more inviting. They will never change unless we change them. That is why you, I and others are on this site. Correct?

  12. Rob N. Hood December 5, 2011 at 5:06 pm #

If I had only known the discomfort and heartache I was causing… well, nevermind. Neil- it you seriously think my comments equate to your post above then you too need professional help. Joe seems to have benefitted from the same suggestion.

  13. NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 5, 2011 at 10:23 pm #

I am so sorry RNH. I litterally could not see the forrest for the trees! There is a connection to AGW, but the financial crisis is hampering efforts to curb GHG emissions.

“Dec. 5 (Bloomberg) — Global warming concerns are being pushed down the political agenda by the European debt crisis and U.S. economic slump, reducing the chance for an accord limiting climate change this week.

“The threat of worsening economic conditions is the ghostly figure at the window for everybody,” Edward Cameron of Washington-based World Resources Institute said in an interview as delegates gathered for United Nations climate talks in Durban, South Africa.”

It almost makes me want the crisis to continue. Almost. But not quite. I would rather not have a global financial crisis as an ally. I mean, seriously, we have enough ammo in the truth, facts, and actual recorded temperature data, not to mention climategates 1&2, to bury the AGW debate forever.

  14. joe December 5, 2011 at 11:49 pm #

Neil, read the same report. We are on the same page. Next chapter to continue…..?

  15. NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 6, 2011 at 7:00 am #

Dan I have a comment awaiting moderation that is pointless, and serves no purpose whatsoever. I would not get any heartburn if you delete it.

    Must have been naughty.

  17. Rob N. Hood December 10, 2011 at 11:57 am #

As the climax and failure of “old” technology becomes increasingly apparent, obviously not without its difficulties and challenges, and amidst the chaotic backdrop of the collpase of the old economic and political order, the transit to “post-history” will begin. The awakening has already started as witnessed by the up-risings and protest movements across the planet.

  18. Joe December 10, 2011 at 7:22 pm #

Yes, the awakening that climate change is natural and is not controlled by man is continuing. As to the “up-risings?” That’s a different subject.

  19. Rob N. Hood December 11, 2011 at 7:49 am #

Yes… sleep sleep my pretties…. nothing going on here…. silence my little lambs….. one day you will grow to be sheep. At which time you will be fleeced, and you will defend your fleecers, to the bitter end.

  22. joe December 15, 2011 at 11:30 pm #

No Sir. Open for guys like you.

  23. Rob N. Hood December 16, 2011 at 8:22 am #

I hesitate killing a fly sometimes. We Libs are very wussy- that is why we generally lose. You should fear the big boys, the elite. They are robbing you, all of us blind, and killing our kids in useless wars, etc. etc.. And they enjoy it. That to me is scary.

  24. Joe December 19, 2011 at 11:02 pm #

I take it you have never served your country. War is pure hell and unless there is a vital threat to our security should never be an option. Your statement that the “elite” enjoy it shows your immaturity when it comes to the real world. Ask any Vet if they will even give you an answer. Most of, if not all of my friends will never answer. They have been to hell and back. When you have a gun pointed at you are you scared? Best freind gone in a second? Sometimes the ultimate decision has to be made and Yes, people die. Let’s hope we never have to go that route again. That said, never say never. Nobody “enjoys” war! Can tell you are not a realist.

  25. Rob N. Hood December 20, 2011 at 7:58 am #

“Any Vet” is not the “elite” I was referring to. Please don’t lecture unless you actually know how to communicate more effectively both ways.

  26. Joe December 22, 2011 at 9:51 pm #

Your statement goes likewise! Don’t lecture absent knowledge!

  27. Rob N. Hood December 23, 2011 at 8:11 am #

Sure Joe- except that I at least seem to undertand and comprehend simple English. Maybe you don’t try hard enough, or are dyslexic, or…is that a HUGE chip on your shoulder that blinds you, or….?

  28. Joe December 23, 2011 at 11:28 pm #

Enjoy to see your liberal reaction when confronted. You have proved my point time and time again. Always belittle the confronter. Enough said. You would not last five minutes with me on a verbal face to face. You would need a tele-prompter. I don’t.

  29. Rob N. Hood December 24, 2011 at 11:58 am #

Again- projection onto me what has been true for you here. I merely pointed out where you misunderstood me, once again. I refrained from speculating whether it’s intentional or not, because that would or could be a case of appearing to try to belittle you. Nevermind- you Rightys all think you fight fair and no one else does, when in fact you guys fight “dirty” most of the time, which sometimes consists of being irrational and/or illogical.

  30. Joe December 26, 2011 at 1:16 am #

Sense a person with no answer? Defensive are ya?
