As The Mythical Concensus Unravels, so Does Gore

Al Gore Unhinged - Warning: Explicit Language

Speaking at the Aspen Institute on August 4, 2011, Al Gore became unhinged, bemoaning the fact that there’s no longer a “shared reality on climate even though the very existence of our civilization is at stake.”

Complaining that audiences are pushing back and asking tough questions, Gore unleashed a torrent of profanity during his talk.

Gore is clearly distraught that he and his comrades are loosing the debate on global warming.

Gore, says we need to come to a shared reality. The only reality here is that Gore has set himself up as an artificial authority on science…. as an actor. In all Gore’s words, “Hi, I’m Al Gore and I used to be the next president of the United States of America.”

Eyeore is getting frustrated because no one is buying the BS anymore. This unraveling is about that, and really nothing else. What a loser! He has been lying to us for years, and now that practically everyone knows he’s full of **it, he is whining and complaining about the fact that he is being called on it. Waaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
Go away Eyeore, you are irrelevent.

Telling an untruth will always catch up to you. Is there climate change? Yes it is natural. Is it catastrophic? No. Will it affect us someday? Possibly. In the next Ice age, or worse? Is it worth spending multi-trillions of dollars to stop? No. Do we need cleaner energy? Yes. Let someone invent the “new wheel” and we will all be happy and they can cover their investment and then some with a better alternative, not wind, bio like ethenal, a real substitute. There is a difference. Al Gore is a ghost from the past. Pure and simple. Love how he now screams for attention that he has been lacking. Like a lost child that does not get his or her way. He’s having a “hissy fit.” Quote to GWB in 2001. He never changes.

      Here’s a possible “new wheel”.

      http://wattsupwiththat.com/2011/08/13/hey-how-much-thorium-you-got-under-the-hood/#more-44970
“Here’s the new concept. Thorium could be used in conjunction with a laser and mini turbines to easily produce enough electricity to power a vehicle. When thorium is heated, it generates further heat surges, allowing it to be coupled with mini turbines to produce steam that can then be used to generate electricity. It is said that 1 gram of thorium produces the equivalent energy of 7,500 gallons of gasoline.”

Really Joe? You seem to have all the answers (as well as the questions for them) but you still are sold on Ethanol? Corn Ethanol is crap, and we should have never given farmers money to grow the corn for it. Sure it burns cleaner, but the resources (water, soil, fuel for planting and harvesting, more fuel for transporting corn and finished fuel, energy for processing) needed to refine it make it nearly a wash in an energy balance. If it is an energy positive system, it’s a small positive.

He is truly reaping what he has sowed

Al Gore is so upset because he has invested HEAVILY in the infrastructure to trade Carbon credits, from which he stood to make BILLIONS of dollars if he could convince enough people of this HUGE SCAM.
That is why he is upset, because he will no longer make a profit.

    • NEIL F. AGWD/BSD August 18, 2011 at 10:16 pm #

Yes, that too!! Thank you Adam. That is very true. I would now like to amend my previous statement and put Adam’s comment in where I said “and really nothing else.” Because now that I think about it, it is probably more that he is not getting a return on his investment, than people not buying his BS anymore. I think it is a combination of both, with a little more weight on what Adam said.

I assume Old Albert is having a “Hissy Fit?” He likes to get his way.

  7. Rob N. Hood August 25, 2011 at 4:31 pm #

And you don’t?! Really? Are we being hypocritical again????

  8. Joe August 26, 2011 at 10:03 pm #

We are discussing Al Gore not a working man.

  9. Rob N. Hood August 28, 2011 at 4:04 pm #

Oh… wow… excuse me. How could I accuse you of all people….!!!!

  10. Joe August 28, 2011 at 9:23 pm #

Accuse me of whatever you want. Does not bother me in the least but it surely bothers ole “Fat Albert” doesn’t it? He does not like to be critisized does he?

  11. Rob N. Hood September 3, 2011 at 3:56 pm #

I’m sure glad you Radical Rightys never have hissy fits.

  12. joe September 5, 2011 at 12:06 am #

No we don’t. Get irate on occasion. That’s about the scope of it. We are too busy trying to pay our bills and feed our family without a hand-out. Not easy, but must of us do it. Rare to see today.

  13. Rob N. Hood September 8, 2011 at 5:43 pm #

Ahhh…. to be you. Must be soooo nice. (I was being sarcastic- you Rightys have the hissiest of fits of anyone).

  14. Joe September 8, 2011 at 9:32 pm #

Rob N Hood, I make $30,0000 a year and feed a family of five and work three jobs. Don’t tell me it is “sooooo nice”. How would you know, Put yourself in my shoes for once!!!!!

  15. Rob N. Hood September 9, 2011 at 7:06 pm #

I have worked 3 jobs before, and have worked 2 jobs for the last 4 years, one of them full time. And I also have a family to support. So, hey now what kind of one-up-manship can you come up with??? I know it will be something, it always is. And is it really “rare to see” people working for a living today? Really? Where do you live, the moon? Oh I know where you live… Right-wing fantasyland… where the men are strong, and always victims, but not really. Hmmmm kind of a contradiction, huh? You Rightys are soooo enigmatic. You scamps.

  16. Joe September 9, 2011 at 7:13 pm #

Glad to hear you have a job. Most of my freinds are unemployed. At least you have an income. Mine is tough just like my unemployed neighbors. Times are good when you have a paycheck. Tough without. My freinds are looking but until the POTUS gets his act together it will be a long time until our neighborhood is back to normal, whatever normal means anymore.

  17. Rob N. Hood September 10, 2011 at 7:37 am #

If Obama was a true Liberal he would create a real national works project, and it would cost a lot. But it would help a lot too and that money would makes its way back into the community very quickly, energizing everyone. But, sadly,he is not a true Liberal and so will not do that; not that the Repubs would let him even if he tried.

  18. Joe September 10, 2011 at 10:07 pm #

All I know is that after going on three years nothing has changed, period Hope and change is nice if you have a plan. Have yet to see one. Just ask your neighbor like I. 9.1% unemployment, debt my grandchildren and their grandchildren will pay. It never ends.

  19. Rob N. Hood September 11, 2011 at 7:30 am #

If you are implying that our current state of affairs is all, or mostly, Obama’s fault then you are simplistic and mistaken. That said, I am no current fan of this President, but we’ve had worse. Much worse.

  20. Joe September 11, 2011 at 10:37 pm #

We have had worse? Give me factual statistics. My neighbors have been waiting to hear the factual results that are rarely if ever published in the papers. They cannot afford computers and simply get a daily paper. Most are over 59-75. Tell us neophites. We are waiting and I will pass on your factual response with factual government statistics I assume you will provide? I’m the only game in town with my PC. Let me know.

  21. Rob N. Hood September 15, 2011 at 3:18 pm #

Factual statistics? Like you would accept or believe anything I post? (and that is why you prefaced statistics with “factual”) BUT- All I have to do is say GWBush. That is my statistic, in toto. And I don’t mean the dog. BTW you must live in a very small town. Not that that is a bad thing… Are you living with your Grandmother in a retirement community? Probably against the rules. Just sayin’.
