Australia May Pay Camel Killers in an Effort to Combat…Climate Change?

camelFrom The Blaze

Kill a camel, earn cash for cutting greenhouse gases: That offer may be coming soon in Australia, where vast numbers of the nonnative, methane-belching animals have been trampling the Outback for more than a century.

The government has proposed that killing camels be officially registered as a means of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Australia has the world’s largest population of wild camels — an estimated 1.2 million — and considers them to be a growing environmental problem.

In other words you have no factual response other than chastising someone? Prove us wrong. Thought this site was about facts about global warming and Al Gore and “Inconvenient Truth” or whatever they call it? Can you not answer direct questions asked? You seem to if it relates to George Bush as well as other conservatives leaving out the left. Does that seem like you are one-sided? Seems to be. Correct us if we are wrong with Gore “facts” that have come true. We dearly wish to read what should be forthcoming. We can hardly wait.

  2. Rob N. Hood July 8, 2011 at 9:05 am #

I am so flattered Joe that you seem to care so much about little ol’ me. I cannot prove you wrong, just as you cannot prove me wrong. It’s all opinion, even for the intelligent people who are creating and analyzing the data. You all don’t believe or even entertain opposing beliefs or ideas. I have tried harder than anyone ever has on this site. So don’t act so high and mighty and self-rightous (althought that is a very commom right-wing trait). It is VERY EASY to dispute ANYTHING. It takes little to no effort. I have offered various points of view, all logical and rational, only to be condescended to and dismissed, without any discourse other than the chastising you have accused me of (of which I freely admit to). So, as I’ve already said, you win. Your types usually do. I respect the climate change is as climate change does viewpoint. But I also don’t irrationally dismiss the unusual effects humans have made and are making to the planet. To do so is extremely disengenuous, even dishonset. But with the current worldwide power of “free-market” capitalism we will all learn the real results of it all eventually. I don’t think any amount of human suffering or angst will be able to effectively stop or even slow down the immense momentum of the all-mighty pervasive modern buisness model. Except of course another world-wide collapse like we almost had a few years ago (thanks to American financial greed) that cannot be averted again. Only when real pain occurs will the sheeple finally wake up and get really pissed off.

Sorry to interrupt your rant but you have yet to answer a direct question. Have you ever been deposed? I sense not. Answer the direct question raised by people on this site. If not you are a fraud that cannot answer according to previous questions raised. Is there a problem?

    • Rob N. Hood July 10, 2011 at 8:36 pm #

You call that a rant? It’s a civilized response to your post. You folks need help.

      • Jerk A. Knot July 13, 2011 at 8:38 am #

No you need help…. The verry greed you so dispise is the same greed that turnd the intolerent left into power hungery tyrants.

  4. Joe July 8, 2011 at 11:36 pm #

Sorry to interrupt your comments but you have yet to answer any question asked. Have you ever been deposed? I sense not. Please address the direct question raised by people on this site. Why cannot you address them?

    • Rob N. Hood July 9, 2011 at 6:27 pm #

Yes I have been deposed as an expert witness (not for anything you’d like like to fanbtasize about). Try not to condescend about things you don’t know anything about, if you can. I have answered the questions- if you cannot comprehend the simple and direct answers well then I just feel sorry for you.

  5. paul wenum July 9, 2011 at 1:05 am #

You cannot answer nor will you because you cannot find a factual Gore answer. Thought so. What a fraud you are after all these months of asking for which you cannot even cut and paste with facts. No wonder why you change the subject when confronted. I’ve noticed that when a person is confronted and have no answer they always finger point and change the subject/question at hand. You have proven my point by your lack of response. When’s the next clone coming? Soros better be getting the wiring correct on the next clone forthcoming. We are all impatiently waiting.

  6. Rob N. Hood July 9, 2011 at 3:21 pm #

Yep, that’s me… just a fraud… boo hoo I’m so ashamed to be found out…!!?? Why are radical rightys so one dimensional and authoritative? I have answered you very thoroughly and politely. You people need help.

  7. Rob N. Hood July 10, 2011 at 6:00 pm #

“The reason that inferior elements of a nation can exert a marked influence on its course is that they are wholly without reverence toward the present. They see their lives and the present as spoiled beyond remedy and they are ready to waste and wreck both; hence their recklessness and their will to chaos… They also crave to dissolve their spoiled, meaningless selves in some soul-stirring, spectacular communal undertaking – hence their proclivity for united action.”

    Eric Hoffer

  8. Joe July 10, 2011 at 9:38 pm #

Cut to the chase. Give us an answer in detail. My God, you dodge and weave like Ali! Simple question or is it beyond your capability to give facts? Seems so. Prove us wrong.

  9. Rob N. Hood July 11, 2011 at 8:59 am #

I cannot prove you (all) wrong. I’ve already said that. I’ve explained it too. What more do you want? Oh, I know, your way or the highway… (btw, you sure sound like Paul- so either way, I will stop responding to you because, like Paul, attempting any discourse with you is like attempting to communicate with a brick wall.

  10. Joe July 11, 2011 at 9:25 pm #

In other words you refuse to answer. Interesting discourse when someone will not answer or address a simple question raised. I hope you don’t negotiate with your employer in the same responses when it comes to raise time and a simple question is asked that you refuse to answer.

  11. Jerk A. Knot July 12, 2011 at 3:04 pm #

Hoffer???? What a shame You went from a chineese wiseman to a freeloading writer who was so dissatisfied with his own life he tried to end it then fled from society only to rebuke it. He is alot like you. A man with the ability to complain but unable to take action.

  12. Joe July 12, 2011 at 9:43 pm #

Your comment, Robbie Hood or whomever you are, “What more do you want?” Simple. An answer to a very simple question. No wonder we have a problem in MN and DC! You people cannot even address a simple question. God forbid what is in our future with people like you. If you were my employee I would ask that you make sure the door doesn’t catch you in the backside as you are asked to depart. I like direct answers to questions when asked. Nothing more, nothing less be it right or wrong. You cannot even answer a simple question that must have been asked at least 100 times by me as well as others. Time for a “Time out?” Give you time to think about a rational factual response.

  13. Rob N. Hood July 13, 2011 at 2:39 pm #

Oh so self-rightous… must be nice. If only I could be so almighty and omniscient and down-to earth as you. Only in my dreams I guess.

And how about this “fact” from Gore- the climate is warming in part fo not in whole due to man’s activites vis a vis fossil fuels. Ok, there, NOW ya happy?!?! Let’s see your intelligent, even-handed, thoughful response to what you have been BEGGING for all this time. So cruel of me to with-hold if from you for sooooooo long. Was it worth all that (wasted) effort and self-rightous pretense?? Come on ya’ll this is what you’ve WANTED…..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Rob N. Hood July 13, 2011 at 2:43 pm #

Oh… wait…. it’s really just an OPINION from Al Gore based upon the MANY facets of his reality including his personal values and belief systems… just as I MENITONED PREVIOUSLY MANY TIMES………….. Just as it is YOUR OPINION that he is wrong, or a crook, or a liar or all of the above.

  15. Joe July 14, 2011 at 10:30 pm #

Is that all you have? I’m dissappointed. Thought you would have facts. You response speaks volumes that you have no knowledge for which you speak. Gore made a subjective statement? A subjective statement is not fact. Suggest you research further and let us all know the facts not opinions. Waiting.

    • Rob N. Hood July 15, 2011 at 12:06 pm #

Once again you have proven my points and have agrued an inarguable point. Can you even see that now that I have had to actually point that out to you AGAIN?! I doubt you can or will.

  16. Jerk A. Knot July 15, 2011 at 10:19 am #

Joe you are correct. However Robbie boy caught himself. He figures out it was an opinion.
Robbie that is my whole point. Subjective statements AKA opinions are fine and dandy as long as they can be backed up by facts. Sometimes you dont have enoulgh facts to formulate or justify an opinion so in manny casses scientists or politicians make assumptions to reach there opinion. That is ok if you identify the assumptions and are honnest about how they are applied. That is where this Hockey stick issue and computer modeling come into question. Many of the fact that are used are not really facts but pure saaumptions. and instead of acknowledging that they changed data and hid or ignored the truth. OH I know I have seen that on my side of the fence also… The right wing has often made the same mistake. Be that as it may it does not change the fact that in the whole scheme of AGW, Climate change, or whatever the new buzz name is, one by one the Opinions, subjective statement, or findings are falling apart. I am not trying to put myself above anyone it is just when things don’t bear out to be what you thought they were going to be it is ok. Just regroup learn from your mistakes and start again. A.G. had 9 critical errors in opinions that back in 2007 a British judge found. Thoes errors have maginified since then because the assumptions that were used to bridge the gaps between his facts and what he wanted to assert did not pan out. A comprensive review made in 2010 could not find a single opinion that has grown in strength. Everything from Sea Level to Polor Bears, to the growth of Coral reefs… He was wrong and won’t admit it.

  17. Rob N. Hood July 15, 2011 at 12:30 pm #

I guess Jerk figured it out. You people have tried to paint me into a corner and label me to suit your own personal agendas. That is what unsophisticates do, to the detriment of everything and everyone. Expand yours minds and your imaginations. Opinions are ok… I guess becuase they are our own and we can take ownership of them. Keeping an open mind however it even more important. Even someone like Al Gore can admit error, if his opinion changes. The problem are those who cannot admit error, ever, be they Liberal or Conservative.

  18. Jerk A. Knot July 15, 2011 at 3:07 pm #

    Robbie,

We dont pait you anywhere. You are quite capable of doing that yourself. You also deny yourself… You are a liberal… I believe you are an anarchist but that is my personal belief. The anarchst movement is defenatly a wing of the liberal “sect”. I am also quite sure that you are a product of inexperence and are quite gullable. I am sorry to say this but you are not a unique as you think you are. Our universities are full of young misguided inexperinced men and women that think they are super intelegent but can’t get the 80K job thy think the deserve so they are bitter against the percieved wealthy eliete and feel that they will right all the wrongs by bringing down the BIG CORPORATIONS. ie big oil.

SO to tie this together with my last post. I find that with a little research I find your fact weak and your assumption faulty. Therefor your opinions or subjective statements are off and patently in error. I am not dismissing you personally just your errant logic and reasoning….

  19. Rob N. Hood July 15, 2011 at 4:48 pm #

If you think I’m an anarchist that just confirms to me, and others reading this, other than the radical right who are always here, that you on the far Right cannot think logically. I am probably more of an “average American” than you are, and with more “mainstream” views than you do. But you can’t see that, nor will you be able to. So don’t try too hard, you might strain something.

    • Jerk A. Knot July 21, 2011 at 1:54 pm #

Main Stream and average ……. humm Not where I am from. Where you are from maybe. What the problem with your anylisis is that it is myopic. As I have said and will continue to say is that you lack real world travel. I doubt you get out from behind your keyboard for more than 30 min a day. And to stay with the 13 year old commnets… At leas I have something to strain….

  20. Joe July 16, 2011 at 12:38 am #

So what I just read is an opinion by Gore is “Fact,” “If his opinion changes.” What the heck is that???? A simple question with a factual answer is all that was asked and this is what you come up with? Suggest strongly that you regroup and check your excellent sources and report factual findings. You bore me with your posts with no knowledge absent cut and paste, or should I say the highr ups? Simply answer the question factually. Pass on my note to Al Gore, would love to talk to him face to face. Oops, forgot, he never gives interviews. Now know why. He himself could not answer. Isn’t that the real answer??????

  21. Rob N. Hood July 16, 2011 at 5:08 pm #

Fact in quotes… you don’t get that, why? And you don’t understand my point, which is bascially giving you all a huge concession. But like the dim/evil Repubs currently in DC you can’t get it or pretend that you don’t. Either way it is very lame. BTW I gave you the Gore FACT that you requested, simply followed by my two cent editorial. What? You don’t get that either? Wow… This is why I cannot stay on this site. It’s like Romper Room.

  22. Joe July 16, 2011 at 10:43 pm #

I asked for factual scientifically proven facual statements made by Al Gore which you consistently ignore. Due to your lack of knowledge or response to these alleged factual statements that you cannot espouse it is apparent that they are not available and you have no factual response. That is what people on this site are reading and awaiting. Lack of facts is what I hear? It that why you cannot stay on this site due to having no answer? Certainly sounds like it boy. Prove me wrong with facts not B.S.

  23. Rob N. Hood July 17, 2011 at 6:53 pm #

Well, boy, there are “Left-sided” facts presented and immediately refuted regarding EVERY article posted HERE. Why are you so semi-psychotically begging me for more of the same? One “Al Gore” fact I did finally present to get you, to stop your tantruming, didn’t meet your extreme needs for some strange reason. And yet you cannot stop. That, boy, says much much more about you than anything else says about me. Cheers.

  24. Joe July 17, 2011 at 10:06 pm #

Very simple. In other words, You apparently cannot answer, all snide comments aside. I figured such.

  25. Rob N. Hood July 18, 2011 at 9:52 am #

You figured nothing except what I have honestly told you. But go ahead and pat yourself on the back some more. Your arm seems well suited for that.

  26. Joe July 18, 2011 at 7:23 pm #

Ok Ali let’s leave it that you cannot nor will you give us a factual statement made by Al Gore that pertains to global warming for which he is famous or should I say, infamous. When you can, we would certainly like to know.

  27. Rob N. Hood July 20, 2011 at 3:39 pm #

“factual scientifically proven facual statements made by Al Gore “… so now you change the exact critieria? As if it matters. I made a statement already, and you can shoot it down now in your fanatical manner. But I don’t care what you do.

  28. Joe July 20, 2011 at 6:51 pm #

Bottom line you will never answer due to nothing there. End of subject. Let it be noted, no direct answer given by a recalcitrant poster on this site.

  29. Rob N. Hood July 24, 2011 at 3:00 pm #

Yep you win Joe! Does that feeling make you happy finally? It’s funny cuz I think you’d have found a way to “win” no matter what I posted. No real discourse, just win/lose. Atta boy Joe!

  30. Joe July 24, 2011 at 8:08 pm #

Actually no. I’m used to people answering direct questions and not dodging them. What a sad state of affairs we have become. Now see why we are in the conundrum we have in Washington and you just proved my point once again. All smoke and mirrors.

  31. Rob N. Hood July 30, 2011 at 7:56 am #

That’s funny cuz I feel the same way about you guys.

  32. Joe July 30, 2011 at 11:36 pm #

You have yet to answer. Do you have a problem with a direct question without a tele-prompter or coaching? Can you speak for yourself? Does it take someone to give you talking points that you have yet to receive? Seems so. A simple factual answer to a simple question raised is very simple. That is if you have one which we all doubt you do. Prove me wrong for once.

  33. Rob N. Hood August 4, 2011 at 9:15 am #

Sorry, I am awaiting for orders from the Kremlin. Their networks are still behind the times a bit and can be slow. As soon as transmission is received on my Soviet-made teleprompter I will reply. Thank you for your patience comrade…

  34. Joe August 4, 2011 at 10:40 pm #

I assume Soros hasn’t sent you the black box with his codes as to what to say?

  35. Rob N. Hood August 7, 2011 at 7:41 am #

It’s in a red folder, if you must know, and should arrive by secret communist delivery any day now. I just wish our communist postal delivery systemwas as efficient as the US’s. I wonder when you radicals will continue doing our job for us and abolish (i.e. privatize) your postal service. Just a matter of time, I know…

  36. Joe August 8, 2011 at 10:40 pm #

Just golfed with my best freind who is a postal worker (mailman). Thank God he is retiring next year. Yes, they should sub-let to the private sector. Per him, more efficient.

  37. Rob N. Hood August 9, 2011 at 1:59 pm #

Is this postal friend by any chance Republican? I would like to see any private business beat the USPS in anything, including their pensions.

    • mazdaspeed August 13, 2011 at 9:33 am #

      Rob,

They do it every day! They are called UPS and Fed Ex, BOTH private, for profit corporations! The USPS LOST 8 Billion dollars last year! ONLY the Quazi-governmental USPS world, could any organization stay on business. This is a PERFECT example of why the GOVERNMENT should not bee involves in business! So now USPS must shed 125,000 jobs! This is just to break even! I am betting that this parasitic organization and its employees will not be on the gravy train any longer! Their OUTRAGEOUS Pensions are just one of the major problems at USPS! The Federal coffers are empty!

  38. Joe August 9, 2011 at 8:00 pm #

Nope, a die hard Dem! We joke about it. He said his retirement is really loaded with benefits I will never receive and then grinned. Ticked me off but must say I beat him in our golf game!
