White House: Global Warming Out, 'Global Climate Disruption' In

john_holdren_official_portrait_secFrom Fox News

From the administration that brought you “man-caused disaster” and “overseas contingency operation,” another terminology change is in the pipeline. The White House wants the public to start using the term “global climate disruption” in place of “global warming” — fearing the latter term oversimplifies the problem and makes it sound less dangerous than it really is.

White House science adviser John Holdren urged people to start using the phrase during a speech last week in Oslo, echoing a plea he made three years earlier. Holdren said global warming is a “dangerous misnomer” for a problem far more complicated than a rise in temperature.

You can evade my question- I didn’t demand that you ID yourself here just asked politely that’s all. If you are so proud and out, then why not here too? Anyway, glad see another admittance that it is “CEOs” that you bounty hunt. That is a far cry from the average deadbeat Liberal such as myself and others, eh? Interesting. You are full of contradictions, which leads me to beleive your thoughts are confused- at least to the extent that can be noticed by others and not so much by yourself. That is very common to 99% of humanity so dont feel too bad about it.

I don’t know or see above what question I didn’t answer. I choose not to talk about myself that much or ID myself, that is my choice and my right. Isn’t it the people like you who get so riled up about freedom and personal rights?! That’s just another of your contradictions. It’s also verging on the hypocritical, but I have pointed that out before to no avail.

I have no problem with people than care not to divulge their entity/person. That is your right. My personal opinion is, speaking only for myself, is I have nothing to fear if I speak what I believe to be true. If I suffer from that, so be it. At least my friend, I can rest in peace knowing that I never gave up my convictions, nor will I until I’m no longer able to say what I believe needs to be said. Am I an idiot? possibly. Do I think of consequences? Daily. Do I worry for speaking my mind in public for everyone to read? Never. When I must cover up my God given name to hide my thoughts the end of our Republic is gone. Finally, life is full of contradictions. You should know that my friend. You were schooled in psych, correct? Enough said.

You are so evasive… all the while saying you are so open and honest- you hide behind fake open-ness. It’s actually hilarious, like a Monty Python skit. You suffer from a huge case of hypocrisy. Fear not, though, there are many like you, unfortunately.

The Tea Party’s effort to kill healthcare reform failed, although they certainly contributed to watering down the Obama Administration’s efforts on this score to a bare minimum. Indeed, they continue to fight the mandate provisions of the law that passed, which require everyone have heath insurance with a private carrier — a proposal that ironically originated with the conservative Heritage Foundation. But in Massachusetts, they elected Sen. Scott Brown, which gave them a key vote in the Senate to filibuster Obama’s agenda.

You amuse me. You always change the subject. Typical.

Not. I responded to your nonsense and THEN added something new for you to disagree with. That’s all. Although you haven’t disgreed with it yet- perhaps that means you agree???

Hint- it ain’t Socialism if it’s private businesses you are funneling money (patients) to. What is it about simple logic and reasoning you people don’t understand?

What’s wrong with transparency? Ask your leader. At least I’m transparent. Am I vulnerable? Yes. Do I care? Yes. At least people know where I stand. I hide from no one. I am who I am and will speak my voice/opinions until the day I pass to a better place someday. In the meantime, I continue to speak my mind openly! Very few people do and that’s our problem today. Always hiding behind an alias. Chase people that hide from reality.

So you include everyone on this site guilty of that but you? You should you know… even Neil- no last name, etc etc. Paul you are very self-centered and judgmental. And hypocritical. Did you tell me or anyone esle here real specific details about yourself? Not really. Nor should you. Lighten up man!

I’m serious in everything I do. I’m recalcitrant but stand by my beliefs. Always will no matter the consequences.

Trying to converse with you is like talking to the man in the moon. And Neil just tantrums…. And Hal is his own kind of “out-there”. But he’s been pretty quiet lately. And Dan’s been the busy bee, I’m sure, trying to get out the Right-wing vote. This is starting to feel like One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest.

Yes – I have been very busy. Sorry for the lack of new posts lately. I’ll get back on it shortly.

Time for the Reptiles to celebrate! But hopefully we will have a Dem for Governor again and it’s about time! It appears the GOP won big, but not the Tea Party so much. That much could have been predicted, at least. All that money gave Bachmann some more shelf life. What would you Rightys do without all that money?? One wonders…

  12. paul wenum November 3, 2010 at 11:27 pm #

“Rightys” as you say, invest their money! We don’t spend outside our means. It is that simple. Need I say more?

Not talkin’ about your little savings account. I’m of course referring to all the secret corporate money that was poured by the millions into Repub and Tea Tard campaigns. Why? Cuz brain-washing works thats why.

  14. paul wenum November 4, 2010 at 10:45 pm #

Do you have precise evidence of the alleged “corporate money that was poured into Repubs” It’s my understanding based upon the mainstream media that the Dems out spent repubs by over $133 million. Just were do you get your figures? Oops. forgot, the Dems got their money legally from the “little Guy.” The Unions, SEIU et al. Give me as others a break in your B as in B, S as in S!
