Second Coldest Spring in US History

According to NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), 2013 brought us the second latest start to spring spring in US history. The only recorded year in which the beginning of spring was colder was 1975. Probably not coincidentally, it was in April of 1975 when Newsweek published its infamous “The Cooling World” feature.

Yes, but you see it’s actually global warming that caused this spring to be only the second coldest. If we didn’t have global warming it would have been THE coldest on record. God it’s just so obvious, can’t you see it? (For those of you that don’t know me, that is 100% pure grade A sarcasm;-)

CO2 must be a unique gas, which even in trace amounts causes global warming during some decades (e.g. 1977-1998), no warming (1998-now), or even global cooling (ca 1938-1977). There were even warming and cooling cycles before CO2 started to rise (mid 1940s). Although the solubility of CO2 decreases with rising temperature, the oceans still manage to be acidified during warming, according to the “experts”. Even when absent, global warming causes ‘extreme weather’. Too complicated for a mere registered scientist like me.
