UN Urged To Control the Weather! Leaders call on UN to 'find solutions' to extreme weather or 'life as we know it will come to an end'

Climate Depot’s Report from Durban, South Africa UN Global Warming Conference – UN Goes Full Climate Astrology

By Marc Morano

DURBAN, South Africa – The South African media and government leaders are borrowing a page from medieval witchcraft when it comes to the science of man-made global warming.

South African President Jacob Zuma literally believes that mankind has caused every storm and that regulatory actions of the UN can prevent bad weather.

“We have experienced unusual and severe flooding in coastal areas in recent times, impacting on people directly as they lose their homes, jobs and livelihoods. Given the urgency, states, parties should strive to find solutions here in Durban,” Zuma said according to an article in the South Africa’s Independent newspaper on December 4.

Make no mistake, President Zuma is claiming that the UN can somehow “find solutions” to flooding in South Africa. The belief that mankind can control the weather is not new. See: ‘Witches,Warlocks and Weather’: ‘In medieval times superstition blamed witches for weather disasters and crop failures…lower temps caused a statistical increase in witch trials’ — Medieval Pope’s version of today’s UN IPCC report: ‘Therefore it is reasonable to conclude that, just as easily as they (witches) raise hailstorms, so can they cause lightning and storms at sea; and so no doubt at all remains on these points’
The Aztecs in 1450, also thought they could end drought by appeasing angry Gods and slaughtering thousands of people. See: Have we advanced? ‘Aztec priests encouraged people to sacrifice blood to the gods’ to end severe drought in 1450 – ‘Sacrificed thousands of people in a few weeks’

My God, he must be a Mayan? 12/12/12? And these are the people that we are to look to for guidance with the alleged “Climate Change?” God help us all!

Why is the Bill of Rights a Threat to the Federal Government? Keep in mind that the underlying principle of the Bill of Rights is to protect the individual’s inalienable rights from a government that abuses its power. When a government is owned and ruled by the oil and military elite, which is pretty much the case in the United States, the people’s right to peacefully protest government-corporate abuse of powers is a nuisance to the government and the corporate and military oligarchs. Proof? Ask Julian Assange of WikiLeaks for example. As Justin Raimondo put it, “Our cowardly Congress, which lives only to advance special interests and line its own pockets, is hardly a bulwark against this onslaught: indeed, they are the source of it”.

      Link?

  3. NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 7, 2011 at 6:07 pm #

It’s OK RNH. I know there is no link. And so do you. I know you are trying to change the subject, it’s what you do. I am not biting.

I just have to shake my head. I have to wonder if these people really believe what they are saying, or do they just say it in the name of pure alarmism. It’s like they are becoming even more shrill, more desperate. I think it’s ridiculous. They think people are brainless. But unfortunately there are enough brainless people out there for things like this to have an effect.

    • Rob N. Hood December 7, 2011 at 6:50 pm #

“pure alarmism” “shrill” “desperate”… sounds an awful lot like some deniers I know…

      • NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 7, 2011 at 9:36 pm #

Well, what is it then? Reasoned, thoughtfull, intellectually stimulating commentary? I think not. “Life as we know it will come to an end”? That is pure, unrefined alarmism.

  4. Rob N. Hood December 7, 2011 at 6:48 pm #

Link…schmink. Whaddya worried about that for? Oh… so the message/info is of lesser importance? Look into it- it happens to be IMPORTANT, and not fantastical. Such as this bit of humbuggery:

Addressing what he called “the most important issue in America that nobody is talking about,” Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell warned Wednesday that the National Popular Vote movement is “getting dangerously close to achieving their goal of eliminating the Electoral College without actually amending the Constitution — without anybody even noticing, unfortunately, what they’re up to.”

The National Popular Vote is a compact among state legislatures under which they pledge that they’ll award their electoral votes to the presidential candidate who wins the most popular votes nationwide, even if that candidate was not the majority choice of their state’s voters.

So far, California, seven other states, and the District of Columbia (all of which have large Democratic majorities) have passed legislation taking the National Popular Vote pledge. Those states and D.C. account for 132 electoral votes. The compact says it is to take effect when states with a total of at least 270 electoral votes have agreed to it.

OH NO! The powers-that-be don’t want the voice of the people to be heard over their monopoly of self-importance! Someone alert Danno! (he already knows)

I don’t think you know just how arrogant you are. If you weren’t so snotty I might consider things you bring up. But you have this attitude that the issues you bring up are vastly more important than anything that is posted here. And that may or not be the case, but you don’t get to decide what the topic is. I don’t care what it is or how important you think it is. I want to talk about AGW issues. Do you mind?

  5. Joe December 7, 2011 at 10:47 pm #

As usual off subject by this Hood, must be from the hood guy? Never changes does it Neil. I thought the subject was outlined above? Agree? The wanna be will always be around like a bad rash with rash comments. I ignore mosquito’s. Suggest we both do same.

    • NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 7, 2011 at 11:13 pm #

I swat mosquitos Joe. I appreciate the suggestion, but I will speak my mind, thank you. Feel free to ignore both of us if you’d like, but like RNH, I also have freedom of speech, and will exercise that freedom wherever I see fit. And, Joe, I have a lot of fun doing this. You wouldn’t want to deprive me of my fun would you?

  6. Rob N. Hood December 8, 2011 at 8:23 am #

What you all think is off-topic are bigger fish that need frying and you all are goaded into looking the other way. Old trick, and it works unfortunately. I do give up- this is hopeless as is our democracy and the rest. Poor Neil thinks I’m arrogant… wow. Then you mention freedom of speech, for yourself, and yet cannot believe it when I exercise the same. Why can you all not control, at least to some extent your hyporcisy? It is so over-whelming, and ridiculous. But please, by all means, have fun talking about AGW, in this tiny little echo chamber. While Rome burns as they say. Same old tired human flaws. We never learn. And as “Joe” loves to say, ad nauseum, never changes. That is the one thing he is right about, and that IS sad.

    • NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 8, 2011 at 10:03 am #

Again you miss my point. This is a narrow focus website by design. It does not matter how important you think something is, this is not a forum of open topics. And it doesn’t matter how important a topic really is in the real world, it is not what this website is for. It is very simple, I don’t understand what you don’t get about that. If this were the cat fancy website, would you be getting angry at people for not wanting to discuss these same topics that you posit? I mean we all have our pet issues (pun intended), AGW is mine. I’m not going over to cat fancy and insist that they discuss AGW, or call them narrow minded because they want to talk about their cats. But that is exactly what you do here. I happen to think that you do it on purpose because you do not want people to talk about AGW. I’m not sure why, but I think you are somehow threatened by people learning about, and discovering new ways to fight against the AGW fraud. I think it may be that you are a true believer in AGW, and you are just doing everything you can to derail, and stifle conversation about AGW, and related topics.

I got it buddy (always did). I will try very hard to leave you alone, and your special place. Why it is so incumbent upon you to hold court over it, and me, is something only you and your mental health professional (Joe) can process. Good luck with that. And you know (as a last, hopefully, parting shot) you are the one who has consistently missed my point/s. And that is: you refuse to see the forest for the trees. Common enough problem for us humans, but nonetheless a very costly one. It so obviously wouldn’t have killed you (I don’t think anyway) to acknowledge anything unrelated directly to the holy subject of this site, other than the immediate and automatic condescending dismissal. BTW I had no other reason for being here other than the curiosity of people such as you, and your ability to engage in thoughtful exchanges. I know now though that you will not believe that and will undoubtedly have some snappy retort.

  8. Rob N. Hood December 8, 2011 at 10:36 am #

Oh, and your analogy above is comparing apples to oranges. In other words the trees vs. the forest. Sorry- couldn’t help that. It’s not an insult- it’s a rational critique and not unreasonable response to it.

    • NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 8, 2011 at 3:22 pm #

Gee, I’m sorry. I didn’t know that coming here to talk about issues I am interested in makes me somewhat mentally deficient. You do know that there are other websites out there with people who are more than willing to discuss geopolitical, and world financial crisis issues? In fact I would wager that they go to those other websites to do just that. You are not fooling me with this bird with a broken wing act. I don’t believe for a second that you think anyone here is capable of curiosity or thoughtful exchanges, in fact you have consistantly remarked that we are not. Why are you acting like you’re hurt? I think it is more because I’ve pinpoited your mission here and called you out on it than anything else. So you can go if you wish. Go and be free to talk about how messed up the whole system is to someone who shares your concerns, or you could not leave and offer your opinion about AGW and associated issues. The choice is yours to make. Hey if you try hard enough you might find that there are some issues that connect nicely with AGW. Yeah RNH why don’t you do that instead of lording it over us that your issues are more important than ours?

  9. Rob N. Hood December 8, 2011 at 4:00 pm #

No Neil… I’m sorry. And for the record I didn’t call you mentally deficient- I even said your “affliction” is widespread and historical. And as far as you “calling me out” that is very humorous. I have, more often than not without direct “calling out” have indicated my purposes time and time again- and yes even when called out as you say. Others here cannot say the same however. Just more hypocrisy coming from your side. Nothing new. Very depressing actually. Time for my meds, as Joe (now there’s some deficiency to talk about) likes to say. It is extremely distressing for intelligent people to see folks like you complain and whine so much, sometimes seemingly about (almost) the EXACT SAME things, without being able to focus on the really big, current, and ACTUAL origins of these issues that we all face. Nothing more nothing less. And, no, I don’t believe I tried to lord over you all. That would be your job Neil.

    • NEIL F. AGWD/BSD December 8, 2011 at 4:10 pm #

      Whatever you say.

  10. Rob N. Hood December 9, 2011 at 8:41 am #

Wow- you finally respond other than in the negative. Although I know you don’t mean it. That’s ok, disagreement is OK. Discourse (back and forth civil conversation) is OK. More than that it is ESSENTIAL to our survival as a modern and evolving human form.

  11. Rob N. Hood December 9, 2011 at 3:53 pm #

I find gnat’s in cracks where no one else finds them. Camels are easy marks. rode one once. That was enough for me. Darn think spit on me!
