Snow present in 49 of the 50 U.S. states

Cooling WorldBy Angela Fritz

After big snow and ice events in the Southeast, Plains, and Midwest this week, 49 out of the 50 states currently have snow on the ground – yes, even Hawaii, where snow falls in Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea all winter. The only state that has avoided this icy blast is Florida. Does that make you want to go on a nice, warm vacation to the Sunshine State? You’re not alone.

Put another way, that means snow is present in 69.4 percent of the lower 48, which is more than double than December. This is extremely unusual, though it’s hard to put a date on when this last happened because records aren’t kept on this kind of event.

Enuff said? You didn’t answer the question. Are your clients government or corporate? Simple question.

I have said enough and will go no further.

Chicken. That tells me you probably earn some or all of your living off government contracts. The tax payers pay your “salary”? And you want a smaller government? Be careful cuz you may get what you wish for. And that goes for all you other hypocritical Rightys out there. Neil, excluded on this one. He earns his money the old fashioned way, by direct service in the private sector. That is UNLESS he gets some of his work from government facilities, well, then… But methinks you get more of it than you want to admit.

what is your occupation? Writing for Politico? Huffington Post blogger I presume?

Nice evasive maneuver, sort of. You avoid the real issue. That is another hypocritical moment brought to you by Paul.

    Never devulge your clients.

I didnt’ ask for specifics Paul. Just a very simple question that you could answer, but won’t. I conjecture, logically then, that you do in fact get much if not all of your work from government entities. Gosh Paul, I hope those programs and policies don’t get cut in the next few years. You’ll end up another unemployment statistic.

(Here it comes- a grandiose statement from Paul that he is so bright and resourceful he is NOT afraid of being unemployed. After all, he is a smart, strong Aryan blooded right-wing real man… he can overcome anything and not end up getting an “entitlement.”)

No government work period, only private. And yes, I can be very self sufficient. Have been in the past with little monetary funds in my pocket. It’s called survival. Suggest you learn that some day. It works wonders for the soul. Looking back, miss the sunrises with nothing in my pocket and the sunsets after busting my arse to keep myself warm and sheltered. Actually miss those days. In reflection, it was fun and exciting to be in control of your own destiny other than looking towards the future now for my young ones that are facing todays financial reality. God be with them.

No government work? Really? I find that hard to believe, but I will take your word for it. Bravo! Congratulations! On this point, at least, you are not a hypocrite then. I knew there was something un-hypocritical about you, if we just dug deep enough.

You appear to be a head-hunter or bounty hunter of some kind. If it’s law enforcement related, you’d be working for Bail Bonds busninesses, thus you would indeed have some connection to government, that is the Law Enforcement side of it. That would also fit your personality- you don’t seem like the social worker type, in other words…

And it would explain your reticence in just coming out and saying what you do. I doubt it would hurt anything, not as if you are FBI or CIA. Even then you could just say, yes I hunt down wanted criminals. Do you hunt down illegal immigrants? Can’t be that- the INS does it and I don’t think they farm any of that out.

Let me just say I find whom I’m after and I never forget a name or face..

So mysterious, so macho. Ok, don’t answer any more questions. It must be nice to be able to live so smugly. Saint Paul the bounty hunter. You should have your own TV show. Neil and Hal could guest star on it from time to time. Dan too. I’d watch it, if I had a TV.

No sir, simply a factual statement. Take it for what it’s worth.

  13. Rob N. Hood February 18, 2011 at 8:45 am #

I did. You didn’t notice? Oh well. You are never happy. And you call me negative…

  14. paul wenum February 18, 2011 at 8:38 pm #

Always happy. Just not when I have discourse with people with your mindset.

Anyone who disagrees with you? Uh huh…

Not happy with stupidity. Of course there is a difference if a person is simply ignorant of the situation. That’s not the case with you.
