Oh, I know. You only want rules and laws that YOU like, probably that targets people like me….. I know you do, but you won’t admit it. And that is simply either childish egocentrism or a fascist personality, possibly even both.

This country imprisons more of it’s citizens than any other. And WE have the audacity to invade and kill citizens in other countries, because they aren’t democratic enough??!!! If you believe that kind of BS you might as well give up thinking altogether.

BTW, other than libertarians it is mainly two-year-olds who feel the same way.

Although I too feel there are too many laws and jailing of certain segments of our population, but I doubt we would agree on what segment that might be. (hint- Non-victim crimes, e.g. certain drug usage and possession.)

You are mainly wishing for some kind of juvenile dream world that can never be. Join us intelligent tolerant adults, we will show you the way. A real way, a better way. Break out of your extremist right-wing boxes and use your imaginatoins for saner better world. But I won’t hold my breath.

“Plain” German people became Nazis or nazi sympathizers. Similar things have occurred in other countries throughout history. And there are usally quite understandable mundane reasons for that, i.e. money, food, water, security, etc. Survival sometimes dpended upon allowing oneself to become a monster, or at least assist the real monsters for selfish reasons. But in the end, it is seen for what it is- evil, pure and simple. No matter how you try to justify it, or live with it, that is what it is. There are different levels on conscience in humans. It’s just like anything elase that can develop or under-develop in the brain, probably for many different reason we may never comprehend. You can’t really change it. But can a person dig deep into their own minds and evaluate for themselves what is truly right and what may be wrong? Do you need religion for that? I don’t believe so, but for many people it seems to help.

We each must decide for ourselves. Are we a part of something bigger than just ourselves and our immediate families? Or can we reach out and cooperate with each other, put aside certain differences, as they say, and really try to do what is best for everyone, across the entire planet. Why else are we here? Just to pile up our expensive toys, and gauge our self-worth in superficial ways? Really? Is that what many of you believe??? Me first, and the rest of the world can just go to hell??? What a sad sad outlook that must be.

My overall point is this: I realize you joe schmoes are NOT a part of the elite, and you never will be. YOU ARE BRAINWASHED to support them, and you do so quite well and will apparently continue to do so until the bitter end.

You are right about one thing- my involvement is truly an exercise in futility, and I don’t know why I bother…. Maybe it’s a sort of masochism on my part. Or the way most people respond to an accident of some sort- they want to see what is there. I am curious about my fellow man- especially those on the fringe. And say what you want but you and all your heroes (e.g. Palin) are very much on the fringe. Your denial of that and other things proves how dishonest or out of touch you really are. At least some people/groups on the fringe know they are and are even proud of it. You all don’t seem to have a clue.
