No, Paul, as I’ve said MANY times now: I am against CaT. And yes, they are part of the global elite, but only a tiny tip of the iceberg, pardon the pun. Happy now? I believe I have alluded to that statement many times (and Obama, like Bush, is part of it and/or their puppets). The global elite own and operate ALL of our politicians (excepting a small precious few, some of whom drop out of the sky in planes that somehow cease flying), AND our entire government, including of course the military industrial complex. The take-over has ALREADY HAPPENED. You’ve been too busy swallowing corporatist propaganda to notice. Please take your medication, and get some rest my good man.

I don’t like to make deals with the devil, and I don’t like the devils behind big fancy corporate doors. Not everyone fortunately makes a living via those large mulit-national corporations. They in fact are the ones behind the “new world order” and all that. They don’t want any restrictions on how they do business- they don’t want nations, or even communities to fourish, they just want consumers and workers (slaves). And if there is no truth to global warming, then they are the ones behind the scam. However, my opinino is that it is real and “they” are using it to their advantage, just like any good capitlaist libertarian should. Time to wake up.

Calm down Paul- go to sleep (just kidding). We’ve been waiting a long time for something to start replacing the ICE. If you’re not part of the solution you could be part of the problem. Again, it appears you only want to allow conservatives/libertarians to make money. I DON’T SUPPORT CAP AND TRADE. But I’m also not paranoid about a Socialist/Liberal take-over of the world. I wish. It is the Corporate Libertarians who are taking over the world. And you are buying their propaganda- all this other crap is a diversion. Using Socialism/Liberals as scape-goats and a diversion. The oldest strategy in the book. The corporate structure cannot tolerate ANYTHING that might effect its bottom-line!! It is like an alien creature in our human midst, that doesn’t give a rat’s ass about humans, families, communities, quality of life, or justice. Only profit, and more profit, no matter what. That’s what globalization is all about. It is NOT about Socialism or Communism, unless you look at it from a “Corporate Welfare” point of view, then maybe I can see that, sort of. But Corporations are Authoritarian, and sometimes even Fascist, in case you haven’t noticed. You guys need to do more home-work to understand what is really going on. And global warming is real, and the Corporations do not like change, unless it is in their favor, and under their control. ThAT is what we are facing, and what we all should be fighting against.

New technology is fine and everyone is behind it. You just don’t go from a horse to a corvette overnight. Everyone I know with a brain is for new technology and innovation, in the meantime, don’t have people lying to us to make a profit purely for their benefit of changing society as “They see fit” as if we are minions to “Laird” Albert and George Soros and cohorts in crime!

Another example of new technology .:

Postdoctoral associate Thomas Adams and Paul I. Barton, the Lammot du Pont Professor of Chemical Engineering, propose a system that uses solid-oxide fuel cells, which produce power from fuel without burning it. The system would not require any new technology, but would rather combine existing components, or ones that are already well under development, in a novel configuration (for which they have applied for a patent). The system would also have the advantage of running on natural gas, a relatively plentiful fuel source — proven global reserves of natural gas are expected to last about 60 years at current consumption rates — that is considered more environmentally friendly than coal or oil. (Present natural-gas power plants produce an average of 1,135 pounds of carbon dioxide for every megawatt-hour of electricity produced — half to one-third the emissions from coal plants, depending on the type of coal.)
