I’m torn on this one! I like and respect Lord Monckton, But I really don’t like Alex Jones. It would be easy to say that this is great, and it is to a certain extent, because they are talking about a subject near and dear to my heart. But if you are familiar with Alex Jones You know when he starts talking about the Bilderbergers, and the illuminati, and the CFR, he sounds just like Rob N’ Hood. With all the conspirtorial bullcrap, I just can’t take it! He’s a nut! But I guess he and I agree on this subject. All I’ll say about that is even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

  2. Rob N. Hood December 1, 2009 at 5:29 pm #

Uh, ok, but what about your conspiracy theory?… ya know… Al Gore, Soros, the Liberal agenda, Socialism, etc. etc. Calling the pot black aren’t we?

    • Neil F. AGWD/BSD December 1, 2009 at 10:41 pm #

Well, you call it a conspiracy “theory”. Just like you called the global climate scam a conspiracy “theory”. But climategate is showing that to be no theory at all.
Have you ever listened to Alex Jones? Imho I think he’s a nut. I believe he has no filter for reality. Is that OK? Can I have an opinion?
Are you a 911 truther? Jones is, I’m not. Him and I just happen to agree on the AGW theory. Does that mean I have to agree with everything he thinks? No, it does not. Does it make me a hypocrite because I believe there is probably a Left wing conspiracy to consolidate and cement power for the Democrat party? Maybe. But you already think I’m a hypocrite anyway, so I don’t care if you call me one in this instance.

Wow, thank you for sharing this… Very enlightening…. and Lord Monckton, I am going to get off my keester and make those phone calls! Excellent interview.

  4. paul wenum December 1, 2009 at 11:33 pm #

I will let you two figure it out.

    • Neil F. AGWD/BSD December 2, 2009 at 12:48 am #

Paul, I value your opinion. I liked the interview, lord Monckton is great at spelling it all out. He is highly intelligent, but he doesn’t talk down to people. He doesn’t lord it over you, so to speak.

    NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!

The only conspiracy I see is the profiteers off carbon credits, 2.5 Trillion dollars worth. Now you know why the MSM is suppressing this information. GE owns NBC etc. etc. It’s all about money, not about pure science. If it was, we would not even be discussing this issue. We would be discussing getting out of the recession because climate change is natural. Always has, always will be. Enough said.

  7. Rob N. Hood December 3, 2009 at 10:11 am #

Neil, just trying to keep you honest that’s all. I would take what Lord M has to say much much less critically if he hadn’t blamed the deaths of milliions by starvation on bio-fuels. He doesn’t back that statement up with anything, and so makes me suspicious of anything else he has to say. There are always many many unfortunate people starving around the world at any given time. AND capitalism isn’t out there saving them now is it?! Never has and never will either. Just pointing that out, that’s all.

The misplaced anger of the Right is infinitely amusing. They blame their problems on East Coast, latte drinking effeminate elites instead of laying the blame where it belongs: with the collusion of government and big business. Their professed “leaders” shill for big business tax breaks and other policies that regularly shaft Joe Six-pack, yet Joe gets all riled up on Glenn Beck about “elites” who have no real power whatsoever. The town hall this summer where the old timer yelled “keep your damn government hands off my Medicare” is a perfect example. Just keep them confused with flag banners, platitudes about patriotism, God and about the anti-American liberals who actually have some decent ideas on fixing some of the problems of this country, all the while undermining them economically, educationally and environmentally.

    • Neil F. AGWD/BSD December 5, 2009 at 12:00 am #

But Rob, he is absolutely correct about the world food shortages caused by the displacement of food crops by bio-fuel crops. Do some research.
And another reason people are starving is due to a lack of wide distribution of Capitalism.
What is your problem with Capitalism? Has it not given you the lifestyle that you enjoy? What do you think your lifestyle would be in a socialist system? Do you think that you would be one of the elites? I got news for you Rob. That ain’t gonna happen. You would be shat upon just like the rest of us plebes. You are fooling yourself if you think you are going to be among the social elite. You could ask the people who thought the same thing during the Communist revolution is Russia, but most of them died in the revolution. There were a whole bunch of people who thought as you do who ended up just as dead as the people who thought as I do. Keep dreamin’.

  8. Paul Wenum December 3, 2009 at 9:49 pm #

Here we go again. It’s always the “right wing,” a conspiracy, joe six pack etc. etc. You know something Rob, you are talking about America. Yes, we are Patriotic! Yes we love our Country. We just hate being lied to for personal gain!! Very simple for “Commoners” and others, however, not like you. Get in the real world for once. Theories are great out of a text book, being in the trenches in the real world teaches otherwise.

  9. Rob N. Hood December 4, 2009 at 11:01 am #

I blamed only misplaced anger on the Right. the conspiracy is soemthing else altogether. I love my country too, and what it was supposed to stand for, and doesn’t any more.

I have realized something, however, and that is that the naming of the “conspiracy” that we all sense and are rightfully angry about probably doesn’t need to be categorized as either Communistic (as Lord M refers to it and all other Right-wingers) or as Fascistic, which is what I believe it to be. This is just semantics really. Why? Well for starters, it is somtimes difficult to place the activites of the true elite in either category, fully. I realized that there are aspects of what is going on that could conceivably be termed “communistic”. That is I can do that if I keep an open-mind about whatever it is that is being discussed. For example, the way America treats its big corporate powers is communistic, that is they are given special privileges that we the people are not. More specifically they are given tax cuts, bail out money, etc. that we poor schmucks can only dream of. That is a form of communistic governing, but in this case it is for the benefit of the wealthy only. On the other hand, there have been many many policies that have occurred since 1980, and before that too, that are definietly fascist, i.e. the reducing of civil liberties, illegal wars, wire-tapping, attacks on habeous corpus, police-State powers, the increased connecting between corporations and the government, etc.

It would be my hope that we can stop this semantic war and start fighting the real enemies of democracy and peace.

bottom line is you or i can not make the weather hotter or colder for tomorrow by anything we can do. try to change tomorrows weather if you don’t agree.!!!!!! we should try harder to improve the stuff that is within our control and will benefit the human race.

  11. paul wenum December 4, 2009 at 10:59 pm #

Rob, I sound like a broken record, but you can start by Voting your convictions, right wrong or indifferent. Unfortunately, we Americans don’t, we just complain and finger point when everything goes to Hell and then we wonder why?? Then we look in the mirror and ask, Why didn’t I vote?? Enough said.

  12. Victory December 5, 2009 at 9:37 pm #

Flawed science is flawed science and rightly should be scrapped. And all this going into which political side you are on is beside the point. Let’s stay on point and quit straying off into political tirades which gets us nowhere. Scrap it all and start over. The world is watching now and it is about time.

“Politics, noun. A strife of interests masquerading as a contest of principles. The conduct of public affairs for private advantage.” —Ambrose Bierce, The Devil’s Dictionary

  14. Paul Wenum December 7, 2009 at 9:56 pm #

Victory, I agree, flawed science is the problem. The problem we have is the elected officials in office do not care if it is flawed. Book closed. That’s why we, as Americans, must vote the idiots out. It is so simple it makes me want to puke. Dumbing down of america I tell my children and it is getting worse. My father was an aeronautical engineer and he is probably rolling in his grave.

  15. Rob N. Hood December 8, 2009 at 9:53 am #

What if it’s not flawed science? What if you are simply believing global elitist/corporate propaganda to the contrary? Then what? Is there any sliver of doubt in your stubborn conservative mind? How can YOU be so sure? What if you’re wrong? How will you explain it to you’re grand-kids, or anyone who ends up suffering becuase you/we didn’t do the right thing? Do you have a conscience? If so, how do you reconcile that with something that you really don’t know for sure… because how can you know FOR CERTAIN?

  16. Kahoneez December 8, 2009 at 6:16 pm #

Alex Jones ” talks about the council on foreign Relations ” and that’ why you don’t like him .
    A. Either you’re a part of the cabal
    B. Have no intellectual curiosity
    [personal attacks deleted]

FACT.. THE CFR (Richard Haass Pres.) says all countries need to ” CEDE SOVEREIGNTY ” for their vision of economic progress AND AND poorer countries need to ” CEDE SOVEREIGNTY ” to receive AID to combat catastrophes or “terrorism” .
Admiral Ward USN (find his quotes ) former member OF CFR SAID , tHE CFR GOAL IS TO FORM …GLOBAL GOVERNMENT , so what part of that don’t you understand ?
Finally , Hillary Clinton is on record (youtube) ” we get advice from the CFR ” and glad they ” moved closer to the WH.

THEY SAY it and Believe it … Even the revered Walter Cronkite advocated ” Global Governance ” , so its all connected , a cabal of so called elites that front for corporations , bankers that want to go around countries , to make laws and control , CONTROL all commerce and laws that they can . It’s A FACT !

  17. Paul Wenum December 8, 2009 at 11:23 pm #

You cannot argue a negative against a negative. Believe what you believe and I will do likewise.

    • Lance December 11, 2009 at 10:37 am #

I’m going to have to agree with you Paul. I try to keep an open mind but when things are this close and the facts are right in front of us it makes me sick too.

  18. paul wenum December 10, 2009 at 12:47 am #

Rob, I read Ambrose Bierce when I was 16. At age 62, good, bad, indifferent. Enough said. Good writer I must say.

  19. Rob N. Hood December 11, 2009 at 5:19 pm #

Kahoneez is right. But that doesn’t mean global warming it false- they are likely using it to get what they want which is what the rich and powerful always do anyways. I’m glad you guys can sleep good at nite knowing what might be at stake. I sure hope youare right, cuz there’s no way the world is going to unite about this or anything else except via force- THEN we will all know who’ behind what- but then it will be too late anyway. Sleep good.

  20. Rob N. Hood December 11, 2009 at 5:25 pm #

Lance- what “facts” are right in front of you? The snow on the ground, what?

And, OUCH Paul, niiice insult. You are truly some kind of savant.

  21. paul wenum December 12, 2009 at 12:07 am #

    Yes.

    Lord Christopher Monckton,

you are my hero. i’ve been waiting for so long. back in the late eighties, when i started to hear environmental reports from the greenie types that CO2 released by industry was making our planet hotter (AGW). from the moment i heard this theory, i knew it was bogus. i have spent the last two decades battling this crazy notion, in which, if you really think about it with common sense, cannot be true.

throughout these years, i have defended myself against an overwhelming onslaught by the greenies; they would attack me like you, that i do not understand the science. of course, as a good scientist, i am always been thorough in my investigations. i told them that someday, the truth will come out. i believe those days are finally emerging.

do not quit. they still have the advantage of the liberal-media propaganda machine. and don’t let the likes of maurice strong off the hook either.
