My point- the deck is stacked against small business. By who? Big business. Who makes sure that continues? Politicians, both right and left. That is what I disagree with. We need to stop defending a corrupt system. You are defending a system that only existed, in this country, in any substantial way, in the 1800′s. People like T.J. above knew that it worked that way in England, etc. and that is one reason people came to this country, to get away from. He was warning people even back then. And now it has “blossomed” completely, more or less. What you profess is more myth than fact. Another old and tired right-wing talking point. People are starting to wise up, I think.

As to being a capitalist? I assume your employer makes a profit and because of that you have a job and may get raises? Take incentive away from a person or a company and see what that brings. I’m glad to see that you have doubts on cap n trade. It will cost you and I as well as our immediate families untold thousands a year extra that we don’t have. Later.

Funny thing about this type of argument/debate. You can’t “prove” a future event… ummm, Duh! Funny also how I have to point that out. So when you say that, well, it’s a spurious and nonsensical request. We can debate the science till the cows come home, but ultimately is all falls back to political orientation, i.e. how we view the world. So to pretend that you are backing the “true and correct science” is equally laughable.

I am not fully sold on Cap and Trade, but hey this is the way America works, and what I have been saying all along. Can I stop American Capitalism from harming me or stealing my money? I wish I could but I can’t. And guess what Paul, it’s not a Liberal or Conservative problem- THEY BOTH DO IT !!! That has also been my point. But you and your buddy Neil are deaf and blind to this. You both defend American capitalism, and yet that is what you are all up in arms about. Don’t you see that? Why can’t you see that? It doesn’t seem to be that complicated to me.
